Mr. Stephenson began his actuarial career in June, 2013, when he joined the Madison, Mississippi office of Bickerstaff, Whatley, Ryan & Burkhalter. His role at the Burkhalter Group involves compiling reserve analyses, rate analyses, data compilation, and various other client projects. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (2019) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (2016).

Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi, where he was awarded the Taylor Medal, the highest academic honor bestowed by Ole Miss, in addition to achieving membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Russian, before attending Vanderbilt University, where he was awarded a Master's degree in Mathematics.
